Spamavert was born out of annoyance at the amount of junk mail we received. A lot of the junk mail came from companies we at one point had a relationship with, even for something as tiny as downloading a piece of software. And we were annoyed at those companies, because there is no need for them to have our e-mail addresses.
So a solution was born; Spamavert. A simple idea of disposable e-mail addresses evolved into a nice, free service for anyone who might be interested.
We're a small, three-man company based in Norway called Digital Creations AS. Actually, only one of us works full time. We create websites and software that we would like to use ourselves.
Our most popular website is Prove.no, a website for practicing for the theoretic tests for getting your driver's license here in Norway. Prove.no is by far the largest website of its kind in Norway.
We've also made MaxTo, a shareware program that lets you divide your monitor(s) into regions, and keep your windows tiled. Great for developers and graphic designers.
